Google Blog Search - incredibly fast indexing
Saturday, October 6, 2007 – 12:31 pmI had heard people talk about how fast Google’s blog spider was, but I didn’t take it that seriously … until I saw my own post in a search result within an hour of posting.

To be honest, it was probably even quicker than that simply because it’s able to respond to the ping that you’ve hopefully got activated here in Wordpress. What’s (arguably) even better is that it seems to be feeding through to Google’s main search results very quickly too. Perhaps they have created a link between the two, perhaps there’s an RSS element being fed in … as yet not sure. It’s good to see though!!
