Zen Cart Gift Wrap Updated for 1.3.8
My Zen Cart Gift Wrap module has been updated for Zen Cart 1.3.8, and is now available in the Zen Cart downloads area as version 2.3_138.
Gift Wrap updates a number of core files, so it is aligned with a single specific release of Zen Cart. You should only update to this release if you are running Zen Cart 1.3.8. Users of Zen Cart 1.3.7 will want to run Gift Wrap version 2.3.
Zen Cart Search Helper Released
My Zen Cart Search Helper module is now available in the Zen Cart downloads area.
Search Helper allows to you easily add extra keywords to a product based on existing text in the product description, title and meta tags. For instance, if your customers are searching for “snomobile” and you sell “snowmobiles,” you can facilitate this search transparently using Search Helper.
Improving your LinkedIn Profile
I blogged last week about how LinkedIn deleted That Software Guy‘s profile. Since then I’ve been busy rebuilding my profile, cajoling people to recommend me, etc. Rather than maintain two profiles (one for my day job and one for That Software Guy), I decided to just have one, which hopefully won’t be deleted – not that I’m bitter.
I thought this post from Guy Kawasaki had some interesting ideas about sprucing up your LinkedIn profile, some of which I’ve adopted. Let me know what you think of the end result – and make me a connection if you’d like!
