Checkout Candy for osCommerce

Checkout Candy allows a shopowner to add a last minute call to action on the shopping cart page and the first checkout page. Although any desired message may be added, this module is ideally suited to interoperate with Better Together; it will display any outstanding Better Together offers based on the content of the cart. Do you use osCommerce? If you use Quantity Discounts for osCommerce or Better Together for osCommerce, you can make your discounts more attractive and visible by using Discount Preview for osCommerce.

I’m on a roll.  osCommerce users, this isn’t your father’s Quantity Discounts.  You can discount by dollars spent, by item, by category or by total items in the cart, and do it by percent, by dollars or by dollars per item.  Go get it!

Indexing speed for new sites when pointed to by blogs

Yesterday I wrote about my brother-in-law’s business doing wedding cake rental in Minneapolis-St. Paul.  Their site had not yet been added to the Google index when I wrote the post.   Less than three hours later, Google found it using my link.   Let this be a lesson to you, new site promoter!
